About The Founder
Ruth Munkubanda-Powell, the founder of Celebration of Ministries, also founded Village Hope International Ministries. Ruth is passionate about sharing the love of Christ with children and anyone God brings her way.
Ruth is a by-product of the early missionaries, ( Dr. James Faulkes, Dr. Foster, Wyant, Faber, and nurses such as ba Marjorie) who came to Kasempa, Zambia. These missionaries have no idea of the impact of their labor. They evangelized Ruth’s father, who in turn evangelized the rest of the family. Ruth continues this legacy by evangelizing children and sharing the story of Christ’s unfailing love with others. Ruth has served in Christian service for over thirty years. Her passion is to evangelize, motivate, encourage, inspire and sponsor young people so they can achieve more than they can think or imagine.

Our Values
Statement of Faith
- We believe that both Old and New Testaments constitute the divinely inspired word of God, inerrant in the originals.
- We believe in one God existing eternally in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, became man without ceasing to be God, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.
- We believe that the Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment; and to regenerate, sanctify, comfort and heal those who believe in Jesus Christ.
Our Goals
- Raise funds to sponsor young people who express need or interest to participation in a program.
- Sponsor those we identify through other programs to have potential.
